Gone Out Of Town To Buy A Car And Drool Over Christmas Ornaments

The luscious Cole Slaw, Cheeseburger and Fried Zucchini will have to wait for this weekend.

Went out of town spur of the moment this week to buy a hot looking Impala SS.

Initially was not too thrilled about driving three hours one way but lookey-look what Angie discovered was located just a couple miles away from the dealership where we were supposed to go to...Notice I said SUPPOSED to go to...

TA-DA!!!!!!!!!

According to the Peoria website, Kightlinger's Antiques is filled with 80 trees and 65,000 Christmas decorations.
They are an antiques, home decor, furniture re-purposing and lamp shop as well.
I looove this sock monkey tree below!

I was so looking forward to visiting that shop,

and never leaving for like 8 million days.

But

we didn't go there.

Instead we picked up a hot Impala SS in a town much closer; there was antiquing and cute shops but certainly not 65,000 ornaments on 80 thousand trees.

It's for the best anyway, because I picked up these adorable vintage Christmas candle rings there. Love them. LOVE!

I know they don't look that spectacularly stunning but I LOVE that kind of Christmas look.

By the way, I am a total Christmas geek.

And because we were away from the shop for a good share of a day,
